Hi Everyone, We've been busy in the workshop this last month or so, developing our range of hybrid armours, the Saracen is the first of these and we hope you all like it and get a better idea of what we are capable of. Made from high quality leather and combined with metalised resin plates for a durable finish, the Saracen marks the first of what will hopefully be a long line of bespoke bits available. Click here to view the Saracen Armour Competition Yup, the chance for some lucky person with a keen eye for design to win a stunning set of Armour (male or female) designed by them and made by Lrpstore using all the techniques we currently use to produce our range. Full details of the rules etc can be found by clicking here, but basically we will be taking entries to the competition for 4 weeks and then will select 10 of our favourites that will be added to a public gallery for votes by customers for a further 2 weeks, where the winner will have a chance to see Their idea be created. Armour designs we are looking at will be: leather, leather/chain combos, leather/plate combos, Male or Female. All we ask is to see originality and not rip offs of other traders hard work please :-) Eggheads - Calling all LARPERS We've been approached by a researcher on the popular Eggheads show to find out if there any teams of LARPers or Re-Enactors out there that would like to take part in the next series of Eggheads, if you'd like more details please click here to view the info. Weapon Production We are pleased to say that Mike from Light Armouries is back up and running following his recent shoulder surgery - we have started taking weapon and shield orders again, but due to small backlog it will take up to 28 days for any weapons ordered at the moment to arrive, we are really glad that Mike's surgery was successful and that he's back up to speed again! On The Move Again So now for some news which may disappoint some of our customers but please others.... Lrpstore are moving to new premises in November to expand the workshop and in house manufacturing side of the business so that we can be ready for the new season and cater better for not only our LARP customers, but also our rapidly growing list of Film clients. This will however mean we are closing the doors on our walk in shop unit in Chichester to focus better on our online and field trade, but have no fear, this simply means better delivery times and..... We get to come out and play/trade at events next year with you all !! And finally .... Please don't forget...
