Pirate Flintlock/ Percussion Pistol

Received this next day after order and what a quality piece! The whole item is heavy duty and well made. The metal parts are fitted very well to the wood stock. The hammer on the firing mechanism pulls pack easily to both half cocked and full cocked positions. The only moving parts are the hammer and trigger, everything else is screwed down tightly. Bought as a party piece it is WELL worth the money and I will be buying a second. Great product!

I was very impressed when I saw this flintlock. Some of my friends have gotten flintlocks from europe, and there's have broken before the end of the first mission, but this one stood the test. It was thrown, dropped, and stepped on, and it just kept firing. It is definitely one of the prettiest flintlocks I've seen as well. You can buy flintlocks from other stores for the same price, but the quality goes way down, and they're usually plastic. This one is solid wood and metal, and we've found that just buying one won't slake our thirst. We loved it so much that we've just purchased a second one.
Suprisingly, it's not quite as loud as the Deringer (which we also own) but it's definitely loud, and I highly recomend it to anyone.

Does it really shoot something?

**LRPSTore** No - There is a pin however over which you can fit a cap which the striker hits, this then produces a loud bang and a puff of smoke, just as effective without the bullet!

Excellent weapon, top notch for LARPing sessions, with real wood and metal that gives such an authentic look. I was really impressed by the quality when I received it.

The cock of the weapon is a little resistant but that gives it a little more nerves so it's all good !

Bought this for a fancy dress party and its even better than i was expecting, works fine and is a very impressive prop, everyone loved it! I will be buying from here again soon!
