How good is the quality of your armour ??
All our armour is made to be worn and used many times and if looked after will give years of continued use. Our armour would be suitable for any use, no matter whether simply as a piece of costume for a party, to many of the designs being use for live blade re-enactment use and is made from the finest quality 3-3.5mm shoulder leather.
What if something needs replacing at some time in "distant" future ??
Just email us to tell us what is required and we will give a cost for the in house repair of the armour.
What sizes does your armour come in ??
The vast majority of our armours come in all sizes, although our stock size is between 40"-50" chest and Medium-XL size for arm and leg armours. If you require something smaller, we can make this to order which normally takes 7-14 days
What size is the chain mail you sell?
One size really fits all as this will suit anyone from a 30" chest up to a 50" chest! On a 6ft person, it is 3/4 arm length and comes to about mid thighs. Please note that our imported chain mail is not suitable for Re-enactment use only LARP, HOWEVER we do make both chainmail and ringmail that is suitable, please email for clarification.
What sizes/colours does the costume come in?
Currently, anything apart from the 'ready made' range of costume we sell on the site can be produced in any size/colour you require. Colours are subject to availability (especially in wool) but we have not let anyone down yet! Quote the size and colour information when ordering the boxes provided on the shipping page.
What sort of quality are your costumes/clothing ?
All our costumes and clothing are made to a high standard which means, it is made from fabrics that can be cleaned many time and the costume can be worn many times, unlike many other costumes available which are made of thin throw away fabrics.
Can I wash my costume ??
Yes all clothing is either washable or dry cleanable (we would always suggest dry cleaning to preserve the fabrics.
Can you make something specific I have in mind?
Yes, email us designs of what you are after and we'll get a quote done for getting that special piece of costume made for you, in what ever fabrics you desire.
Do you keep stock of all the items in your store?
We hold a great deal of stock through the year however we ask all our customers to keep in mind that these numbers are changing daily. As a general rule, if any leather item is out of stock or needs to be made this takes 7-14 days unless you contact us in advance to get an exact time. With regards clothing, times are generally never longer than 4-6 days and larp weapons, varying from 2-4 weeks. should any customers require items for a specific event, we always suggest contacting us in advance to check stock.
Is your costume good enough for Theatre, Weddings or Films ??
We have supplied thousands of pieces of costume for pretty much any use, including theatre, film and other special events.

Are all the weapons sold here LRP/LARP Safe?
Yes, everything sold on the site is made to conform to all EC safety standards with regards this type of item and is considered LRP/LARP Safe. They are made by reliable professional companies who have been making LRP weapons for over 15 years and are made using a whole variety of technology to prevent the possibility of accidents.
When sold, they will pass the safety checks of all major systems, providing that they have not been used/stored incorrectly. Some systems have different rules about throwing/range weapons etc so you'd need to refer to your club contact for more information.
What are the weapons made from?
All our weapons are made using a combination of materials including a fibreglass or carbon fibre core, which is then covered in foam or various layers of foam and is then given safety tips at both the pointy end and the pommel end, this is then followed by a layer of latex or other flexible protective material, which is coloured, then sealed, with the final stage being the addition of a hand bound leather grip.
Can you make designs to order ?
We can make any straight bladed design at all, all we need is a good picture and approx 4-6 weeks depending on time of year. In the first instance, we would need all details of the item wanted so we can quote a price and an exact delivery time.
Do you ship to countries outside the UK?
We ship worldwide, to over 25,000 customers every year.
How long will delivery take?
Delivery times depends on the current status of stock and although 90% of the products advertised are held as stock, if the order is required for a date, please enquire first if you require anything for a particular date.
If I order on a 24 hour service, will I get it the next day ?
The 24 or 48 hour shipping refers to the length of time in transit via our shippers Parcelforce and NOT HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE FROM THE TIME OF ORDER, final delivery time will depend on the current stock availability of the chosen item/items so please check if timing is critical to the order.
Assuming everything is in stock and including order processing you should receive a 24 Hour order within 2 working days. If you have purchased several items you will be given the choice to wait until everything is ready to ship which is the cheapest type of shipping OR pay the additional shipping charge (cost dependant on products to be sent, please check first)to have the order split. The longest items that are the made to measure take on average 2 weeks from the date of order.
Do you deliver at the weekends ??
If you select royal mail, then you can have something delivered on a Saturday, however please note, parcel force do not deliver at weekends.
If some of the items in my order are in stock and some are out, will you split the order ?
THE IN STOCK ITEMS WILL NOT BE SHIPPED UNITL THE COMPLETE ORDER IS READY, UNLESS REQUESTED AND AN ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGE WILL BE PAYABLE.
How are my items delivered?
UK: Smaller/lighter items to the are delivered by Royal Mail 1st or 2nd class delivery. Larger/heavier items are sent by Parcel force 24 or 48.
European/World: Smaller/Lighter items are sent by surface mail where possible and by courier for larger/heavier items.
How are shipping charges worked out?
UK: Charges are worked out on a weight per item basis, and you will be given the shipping options available when you begin to process your order.
European/World: Delivery is worked out in the same way as for the UK and is country dependant.

We accept cheques & bacs orders (by prior arrangement), visa, mastercard, debit, switch and solo cards. We cannot take Visa Electron. Credit cards are debited in £, your card company will do any conversions.
Are my card details secure? If you are paying by credit or debit card, or in fact by any means, all personal data is encrypted by SSL in order to keep it secure from potential hackers.
