Hungarian Sword

This is the type of sword that would be raised to defend against the Turks. The eastern kingdom of Hungary was often a battlefield that kept the Turks away from Western Europe. This very fast cut-and-thrust sword has a faceted pommel and simple guard, both of steel. The beautiful grip is hardwood with a raised center ridge and the upper half is wrapped in leather marking for a very positive grip.
